Jon Moxley vs. Michael Elgin vs. Sami Callihan vs. Mike Sydal vs. Keith Walker vs. Ryan Phoenix

We want this TPI to be an event that all of our fans are excited about. It seemed very unanimous amongst you that you did not want Bashir in the TPI so we searched for a replacement that we thought our fanbase might be more happy with. Hopefully this change is met with more approval than the announcement of Bashir was.

First Round Matches
Jimmy Jacobs vs. "One Legged Wonder" Zach Gowen
Roderick Strong vs. "Tokyo Monster" Kahagas

Tickets: $65, $50, $40, & $30 for both nights
GA for 1 night is $20
Belltime @ 8:00 On Friday night & 7:00 on Saturday

The IWA-MS World
Heavyweight Championship will be defended thought the TPI, whether
Dingo still holds the belt or not. Dingo has the spot in the TPI, not
the Championship.

Quote:Our fans have asked for a very long time for what many consider to be the best tag team in wrestling today to be on an IWA show.

Well, you asked for it and now you will receive it because it has been finalized...THE BRISCOE BROTHERS will be on Night 2 of the TPI.

Maybe even better than the fact that The Briscoe Brothers will be making their debut in IWA is who they will be wrestling that night.

The fans in attendance will have the ability to determine what team faces the Briscoes on night two.

Each fan will be given a raffle ticket when they enter on NIGHT ONE. After each first round matchup on Night One, a jar will be made for the loser of the match. At the end of the night, as you leave, you can drop your raffle ticket into one of the jars for whom you would like to see against the Briscoes. The top two vote getters will be teamed together to face the Briscoes on night two.

Yeah, they bumped KOTDM to March, TPI in June... Anny show in October I think, then they shit-canned QOTDM, Double Death, Candido Cup and something else... Trying to spread it out instead of cramming all the shows into the fall is maybe a good idea.

Did you not like Joliet because it was too far away from the Chicago airport to get to? I have to say having been to a few different IWA venues and cities, Joliet is pretty damn nice. I think Highland was the best, but I'd rather have this with the extra 30 minute drive than the shithole of Midlo.

I think he only retired once actually and this was his comeback recently.

Highland was damn nice. Just in the middle of nowhere enough to be cool, but close enough to civilization for white castle & kb toy works

That city was awesome, esp. since that main strip had everything we needed.

Midlo was hard to get to, the hotel was the definition of a dump, and everything was scattered around. You missed out on that Derek.

Joliet... it's a little hard to get to, but we managed better than usual (isn't it our gimmick to get lost every year?), the hotel was nice, and it's close to awesome places to eat.

Make the trip, all of you Texas assholes

We were just laughing about the ill-fated KFC run where we ate before you even ordered. I don't know if you ever got this in your anger haze, but when we were in line, Chris looked at his phone and dude in front of us goes "What are you doing?" Are you taking my picture?" It was very odd.

TPI is less about the show and more about the trip lately.

Yeah, that was pretty much it. It seemed like a bit of a distance to drive in a state I'd never been to. I dont know, I might make it this year though.

My phone is dead so I can't text you, and this is a good place for it...

I am currently eating lunch from a Mexican joint by work, and it almost puts El Burrito Loco to shame. We're getting this on WM weekend if we watch TPI08. It's also a store, so it has all these authentic Mexican gimmicks... I got a bag of Kettle cooked Habanero chips. Holy moley, you'd love em

At this point, theres no real stars. Like theres some decent people but at the same time no easy picks for the finals. With it being this late, I doubt anyone big will show up.

yeah, they go big with the first few.. and the first batch is a very good list. Then it is filled out with local guys usually. But there are still a lot of names out there that could be in it, like Chuck Taylor? If it holds as is, and you add Sweeney, I can deal with it. If/when people like Roddy start to drop, then it's bad

also let the record show that last year may have been the worst tourney of the ones I have gone to, but it may have been the most fun trip... which is now how we think of it. The show is really secondary to the rhetoric and hilarity that ensues
