Good thing I was already not planning on going to the TPI. Now I just need to order my AAW ticket just in case.

Chris I never got back to you... but maybe we should preorder AAW tickets, just in case all 20 people who were going to TPI decide to do that instead.

I would do it if you plan on going. Just get GA.

I think the draw of Danielson will get the place close to sold out. Although he will be in Chicago 3 times in September (AAW, DGUSA, ROH).

If you want I can since you picked up DG, then we can just figure out if someone owes more for either.

How the hell would I get down to AAW? I have NO CLUE where that is. But yeah, I'm getting my DGUSA GA ticket on like monday or tuesday when I get paid. I would definitely go to Smackdown in Chicago with Punk as champ, too bad it's Raw.

1. AAW tickets can be purchased off their website in the Events section.

2. AAW is out in Berwyn, which is like 10min from me. So if you can get out here, I could get you a ride. There's also a train station in Berwyn. The last train leaves there at 12:08. AAW normally gets out around 10:30/11ish.

3. Smackdown is in Rockford on Tuesday.

They gone.

Oh well, I really didn't want to have to find a way down to Joliet two days in a row. Dragon Gate FTW.

Major Chris, I seriously do not know what our plans are for the weekend. I don't want to say "Yeah, we'll be there to get you!" if we're like... watching Michigan in triple OT or we're in another direction or whatever. But I'll try to coordinate our plans soon and we'll see what's up. I know we want to hit downtown onw day, but I think that will be Sunday.

I need to look into changing hotels now that TPI is done.

Areas that I should be looking at for ease of getting to AAW/DG/Chicago fun?

I don't know about the rates for the ones around Midway, but as I was looking for hotels around the Berwyn area (where AAW is), most of them were no name motels.

http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/ex/1/en...ex-_-chimw

That is a Holiday Inn Express near Midway that will be 20-30min from both AAW and the Congress.

AAW tickets ordered. Let me know if you need me to look for hotels, or more importantly sweet sports bars for the game!

So who in the Chicago area knows a bookie? Because I want to lay some clams on the first weekend of the NCAA.

And yeah Derek, if there are any awesome sports bars we can hit, that would be appreciated as well.

Chris, I just picked up AAA maps/books for Chicago, so I think I will look into hotels tonight/tomorrow. If yo ufind anything, feel free to save it and hit me up, and I'll come over tomorrow or something and we'll figure it out.

Whoa.. that Holiday Inn is like, double the price of the place we have. We may be looking at a drive, but I'd rather that than pay 129 a night instead of 70 a night.

Generally I go to this place for UFC events due to their monster screen. Its a huge place though. Its like 4 bars in one. Food is pretty good too. Free valet parking as well.

What night do you guys wanna hit bars? You all should REALLY come out to Wrigleyville. Awesome sports bars for daaaays.
Also I need to know whats up with getting DG tickets at the door. Its Thursday so there's no way I'm ordering them online and expecting them to ship to me, there's also no will call option. I want that commemorative Bryan Danielson ticket dammit.

I haven't heard about that situation. Philly, there was speculation it sold out, which worried me here.... I can't believe there is no will call, or any local store that is selling them. The venue maybe?

Just copped them over the phone. They said if I ordered them online they would've put them on will call automatically, yet there is a $5 shipping charge on there so obviously they would've pulled a jip move on me.

Haha there is so much to do up there, I dont fuck with the Cubby Bear because I always feel like I'll have a problem with my (super-official) fake ID there. I hope we run into CM Punk so him and Pete can hang out and not drink together.

Yeah, that's ironic.... but like, we all went. So there's little need for a recap of what we all saw together.

Fair enough, I've just been reading up as much as I could since I got stuck working. Will not miss the November Philly show though... been mulling over getting a pair of front rows while they are still available.

two guys with Zug and J shirts?

And for a recap... I thought DG was very good. I like how they seem to give equal importance to every match, because four of those 6 could have main evented easily.

haha, exactly. We stayed in the same spot, it was a really good view. Dude in the J shirt was my buddy who had never been to an indy type show.

I thought the show was very well executed. It was cool seeing some of the AAW guys out there after seeing them in action the night before. I got handed a flyer for "Lucha Va Voom" on the way out. I guess it's Lucha Libre w/ strippers, I'll be headed to that.

And Cassandro... who is real sweet.

Did you see the guy right in front of us, last row, who was a HUGE Davey Richards mark? He was hilarious to watch

Hah. There was a few comments about family being in full effect at DG.

And yes, it was hilarious seeing AAW people doing security for DG.

I told everyone you guys stood next to us because you could smell the Juggalo on us.

I think at one point Derek said "famiy in the house" or something to that effect. Good show, good times. The Davey Richards guy was right behind two legit Japanese dudes yelling NURUUUUKIIIII DOIIIII the whole time. Ah, memories.

The party I went to after was epic too, damn you kids for running off.
