I saw that on his myspace, I need to check it.

I read Jericho's book and watched a Best of Jericho's WCW Heel Turn dvd, which was decent.... it was missing some minor stuff, but god it makes me want to watch all WCW 97-2001 stuff now.

Right now I am watching a Benoit vs Raven/The Flock dvd, which again... missing some stuff but makes me want to watch all old WCW

Skimmed through the ROH Wrestlemania shows from this year. Anyway, all in all theyre both really good shows. They edited out KENTA's reverse Go 2 Sleep attempt on Richards which I didnt really like, but I understand it. I also get a good amount of camera time on night 2 which means nothing, but is fun. Anyway, great shows, pick em up.

Chikara - Little Creatures - October 21, 2005

1. Darkness Crabtree vs CP Munk
2. Crossbones vs Jervis Cottonbelly
3. Sabian vs Jay Phoenix
4. Eddie Kingston vs Rorschach
5. Larry Sweeney vs Chuichiro Arai
6. Hallowicked vs Lance Steel
7. Milano Collection AT vs Chris Hero
8. Mike Quackenbush, Skayde, Jigsaw & Shane Storm vs Claudio Castagnoli, Arik Cannon, Icarus & Gran Akuma

Not nearly as good as I expected, even though I didnt expect much. The Milano/Hero match was very good and easily the best of the night. Second would probably be the Sweeney/Arai match. The crowd was probably less than 35 and dead for most everything, so that hurt it even more. Nothing much to see here except Crossbones' promo which is on youtube.

Chikara April 26, 2009 "The Bobliographon" - Philadelphia, PA

1. Shadow Phoenix vs. Claudio Castagnoli -Very good, especially for an opener.
2. Cheech & Cloudy vs. 2.0 vs. Super Smash Bros. vs. The UnStable -Very good again.
3. UltraMantis Black vs. Create-A-Wrestler -Not horrible, but not as good as the first two.
4. Eddie Kingston, Grizzly Redwood & Brodie Lee vs. Incoherence -Another really nice match.
5. Dragon Gate USA Announcement Video -Self explanatory.
6. SharkGirl vs. Sara Del Ray -Not horrible, but not great/
7. Osirian Portal vs. The Future Is Now -Surprisingly good.
8. Vin Gerard vs. Glacier -Not too good at all. Should have stuck with the KOT.
9. F.I.S.T. & Buck Hawke vs. The Colony, Jigsaw & Mike Quackenbush -Another surprisingly good match, especially towards the finish.

Definitely recommended.

Chikara lately doesn't really intrest me, but it's good to see they are still doing shows that are enjoyable.

I just started to watch The Best of Paparazzi Productions, and holy hell is it awesome, and it's basically just a Shelley TNA Best Of to the point I am at.

I think the last thing I watched was.... the WWF247 DVD of the Legends Roundtable for Piper and Funk. They are SUPER short so I am glad I got it for very cheap. They are cool and all, but not enough to pay more than 8-10 bucks for, at all.

I also finished the Raven/Benoit dvd set, which was excellent.

Oh, I also watched a Philly houseshow from 1987, and now I need to get ALL of the NYC/Boston/Philly houseshows from that era. Fantastic.

Chikara has really picked up lately, especially the Philly shows. They've gotten to the point of passing ROH for me.

How much material is/was there for the Raven/Benoit comp? I cant remember them having too many matches.

It was 4 discs... the tail end was over the tag straps with Benoit/Malenko vs Rey/Kidman vs Raven/Saturn. The majority was Raven vs Benoit, then into the three way feud w/ DDP. ALso technically the comp is "Chris Benoit vs Raven and the Flock", so every asshole Raven threw in front of him, then beat his ass 8 on 1 afterwards is on there. Also some randoms not really in "feuds" liek when Raven/Kanyon wrestled the Horsemen, and Raven just sat in the corner and didn't want to be tagged in. God, I want a total Raven in WCW or jus ta Raven/Kanyon Best Of.

Chikara May 24, 2009 "Aniversario Yang"
1. Los Ice Creams vs. Brodie Lee & Grizzly Redwood
2. Ophidian vs. Arik Cannon
3. Order Of The Neo-Solar Temple vs. Create-A-Wrestler & Super Smash Bros.
4. Vin Gerard & Colin Delaney vs. D'Lo Brown & Glacier
5. 2.0 vs. Sea Donsters
6. Incoherence, Cheech & Cloudy vs. Jigsaw, Helios, Lince Dorado & Mike Quackenbush
7. Eddie Kingston vs. Claudio Castagnoli
8. Double hair vs. Double Mask: F.I.S.T. vs. The Colony

Both nights were pretty great. The first night there were some in ring timing issues, but only in a couple of matches. Of the two nights, Delirious and Cannon had the best match hands down. Good shit.

I just finished reading Bret Hart's book, phenomenal. I probably read about half of it yesterday and that mofo's 550 Pages. I was hooked. I found his insights into the general locker room attitude and atmosphere in the 80's and 90's the most interesting part of the book, as well as his depressing post-Owen life. Bret was always my favorite wrestler of all time and while this book may skew your view of him as a person, he's still my favorite performer to watch in the ring, ever.

Also, Bret, get over the Shawn Michaels thing dude. I loathed Michaels for years because I was such a big Hart fan, but I've made peace with my hatred. Granted, I don't doubt your portrayal of him in 1994-1997 was accurate, that little dig about him in the Afterword was bitter and unnecessary. Having seen HBK's DVD, I can tell he's a man who's remorseful for a lot of things done in his past. If he's willing to repent, you should be willing to forgive.

Val Venis and Snitsky shoots were good, with Val's being obviously better.

You know what I watched? JCW's Bloodymania 3. Worst wrestling show I've ever seen.

But Jimmy Jacobs' new look/gimmick is money
